Teena has announced a NEW Adventure in Paris this year – Over 40′s Lazy Adventure in Paris (read more on the Adventures page). How does a week of eating, drinking, and lazing about on barge cruises sound?
2. Fantastique French Textile Retreat in Paris
Paris is summer is beautiful and I’ll be there around June, July and August 2011.
I’ll be hosting my regular week-long Silk Painting Adventures, and catching up with friends.
This year I’ll also be offering one-day Silk Painting Advenutres for those who don’t have a week available.
We’ll visit one silk/dyes supplier and spend several hours painting on silk, learning new techniques.

3. So Frenchy So Chic! Plus Size Fashion Adventure in Paris
French designers know that not everyone is teeny tiny & skinny, even though that’s what we all see on the catwalks of Paris, New York and Sydney.
On this week-long fashion adventure we visit lots of fabulous stores in Paris for anyone over a size 12, from casual to everyday, funky and elegant.

The Melbourne Scarf Festival is back! Teena is once again participating in this wonderful collection of scarves from silk artists across the country.
April 12, 13 & 14 : Royal Easter Show
Teena has been invited by the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW to hold demonstrations of silk painting techniques for the Show’s visitors. A wonderful opportunity to share the love of handpainted silk with silk painting demonstrations throughout the three-day period.
“The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW would like to invite you to the Sydney Royal Arts Section in Hall 3, Sydney Showground during the 2010 Sydney Royal Easter Show.
The Show will be focusing on interactive demonstrations that will engage, educate and entertain our Show visitors.”
March : “Maharajah’s Garden” Travelling Exhibition
Teena’s handpainted silk wallhanging of a purple Indian elephant adorned with bold, vibrant flowers is part of the two-year Travelling Exhibition with the Australian Textile & Surface Design Association (ATASDA).

Teena was invited by Silk Painters USA (SPIN) to facilitate a 3-day workshop, where people came from all over the world to learn how to paint on silk in a marvellous environment. Teena met silk artists from all over the world, and when passing through Los Angeles met with other internet-friends via the Yahoo Silk Painters forum – a fantastic trip!
